Hi, my name is Michael Ebere Imasua and I live Miami Florida. I am a Nigerian and I am a South African by ancestry. I am a full time student who is committed to providing a culturally diverse learning environment in collaboration with Miami Dade College and other Pan African organizations within our community. These few words cannot be expected to do justice to a man who led, by any standards, a full and varied life. Indeed in these days of specialization, it is difficult to take seriously a man whose life encompassed helping those in need, representing the interests of the hopeless and negotiating the Treaty of hatred among friends, physical and social, that are still apparent today. I see PASA as a global based curriculum, infused with learning resources and expeditions, provides hands-on, minds-on authentic learning experiences taking students beyond the walls of the classroom. I am currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Science in the major of Aviation Administration (Air Traffic Control) here in Miami Dade College.

I believe in innovations. My goal as a leader is to serve and set my followers in higher expectations. I am honored to be the Founder & President of the Pan African student Association of Miami Dade College, a strong and active professional organization. I am privileged to follow a succession of other great leaders/presidents of Miami Dade College Student Organizations who have made great accomplishments in making Miami Dade College a culturally diverse learning environment, and provide a voice for international students in MDC. I see my self working according to PASA constitution and the Miami Dade College Code of Conduct. I trust my effectiveness of leading a great organization like PASA.

MY POEM

POEM -   PATIENCE

What did you wear to work four days ago?

What were you doing by this time last year?
What happened to that illness that seemed not to go away?
What about that task that looked impossible to achieve in the beginning?
.

Such is life. Like a ball rolling and rolling. Trivialities govern the world. With this at the back of your mind, one would know that no situation last forever.

.
Tomorrow rather than today should be our focus.
Always think with your mind rather your mouth because patience is a virtue. Slow down, Be careful.
